LEND's Million Coin Challenge
Look for Red Piggy Banks waiting for you to feed them with coins at local businesses around Loudoun County.
LEND’s Million Coin Challenge is in full swing. This fundraiser will help LEND assist people with disabilities in Loudoun and everywhere we go and it has been a surefire hit; so much so, that about 40 Loudoun businesses, so far, have agreed to “host a pig” for us.
This means if you see a pig with LEND’s name on it at your local store, please consider it an invitation for you to dig down deep and find all that loose change and feed it to our pigs.
For a complete list of businesses hosting pigs, visit us on the ECNV website (www.ecnv.org) and click on the LEND page. Keep in mind that their willingness to "host a pig" means that they believe in what the missions, goals and objectives of LEND, and ECNV, are all about, which is serving citizens with disabilities and ultimately ENDing dependence. Help us reach our Million Coin goal!
If you hear of a business that might be willing to "host a pig", please have them call or e-mail Bill Ward at 571-291-9550 or billw@ecnv.org.
Piggy Banks can also be picked up from Kelly at the Loudoun Chamber Office - 703-777-2176.
