The ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia (ECNV) Annual Awards Reception on Thursday, June 11th will feature a silent auction of $20,000 worth of items including 175,000 miles from American Airlines, two night stays at luxury hotels, Washington Nationals tickets, a year of chiropractic care, and an impressive array of original artwork. Tickets are still available for the event which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington. Guests will also enjoy live music from local musician Abby Nightingale, hors dâ€™oeuvres, and drinks.
The ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia (ECNV) is pleased to announce that the ADA Legacy Tour will be stopping at ECNVâ€™s office building at 2300 Clarendon Boulevard on April 20, 2015, for a 12:00 p.m. â€“ 2:00 p.m. event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Americanâ€™s with Disabilities Act (ADA). ECNV, a center for independent living that provides resources and advocacy for people with disabilities in Northern Virginia, will host the community celebration with the "Road to Freedom" ADA Bus.
The ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia (ECNV) applauds the Arlington County Board for unanimously voting to approve 60 new certificates for wheelchair-accessible taxicabs. The motion, approved Saturday, will increase the number of accessible taxicabs in Arlington from 37 to 97 out of 787 total cabs.
