ECNV’s commitment to providing independent living skills training is significantly improved through the use of this facility to create lab settings where practical, every day activities of daily living can be practiced and performed. Laundry training skills are acquired using a front-loading washer and dryer. Having these basic home appliances at ECNV also serves the practical purpose of providing an option for our consumers and visitors if a clothing change on site is required for any reason. Sets of loose-fitting hospital-type scrub suits are made available to visitors or consumers while they wait if necessary, and the ECNV accessible bathing facilities on site provide consumers with additional options.
