On February 5, 2022, Trusted Disability Network Champions Lenka Mendoza and her husband Carlos Zuñiga co-hosted a pop clinic that was able to provide vaccinations to a group of domestic workers with the organization Dreamers Mothers in Action and their families, including members with disabilities or chronic illnesses. They received their vaccinations at the library in Culmore, Falls Church area, a traditional meeting place within walking distance for the Hispanic and Indigenous multicultural communities of Guatemala.
ECNV/Multicultural Families continues its mission to serve immigrant communities that are traditionally the most vulnerable and have the most difficulty accessing services by providing vaccinations in their culturally appropriate environment with services in Spanish.
