Aging Solo doesn’t mean aging alone. The Aging Solo Collective is a welcoming monthly gathering for anyone navigating life on their own terms— and solo aging. Each month we share real experiences, challenges, and wins while building community, resources, and support for this season of life.
AI Tools You Can Use: Work in Tandem with Your Healthcare Team Using Ai for Empowerment and Practicality
May 4 | 7:00 PM | Aging Solo DMV Collective (Zoom)
Join us on May 4 as Burt Rosen shares a powerful and practical conversation on how AI tools—like ChatGPT and others —are transforming the healthcare experience for patients. Diagnosed in 2022 with both advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor and Kidney Cancer, Burt has become a resource, advocate and knowledgeable speaker / advocate for fellow patients navigating complex medical systems. Drawing from both lived experience and his background as marketing director at Oregon State University, Burt will demonstrate how AI can help interpret medical jargon, track symptoms, generate questions for your doctors, and organize health information—while also addressing privacy concerns and the evolving doctor-patient relationship in this new Ai-world.
Through real examples from his own journey, Burt will demo ways to use Ai for health questions and how anyone can turn AI into a personalized support tool—one that adapts information to individual learning styles and even offers empathetic guidance. Please register to learn how this technology can support your health and decision-making, this session will offer insight, and build confidence to use Ai in your health journey.
